Eclética Química is an open-access journal, meaning that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles or use them for any lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This follows the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative) definition of open access.

The name of the Associate or Section Editor appears on the first page of the published article. The ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) appears in the authors’ names. The ROR (Research Organization Registry) of the University appears in the affiliation.
