Resumo
A ligação química envolve três níveis de representação, a saber, macroscópico, submicroscópico e simbólico, que geralmente são difíceis de serem compreendidos pelos alunos devido a seus conceitos abstratos e complexos. Nesse caso, os professores desempenham um papel importante como facilitadores. Entretanto, os professores ainda enfrentam vários desafios na aplicação de uma abordagem de representação múltipla. Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar e analisar as dificuldades nas ligações químicas baseadas em múltiplas representações com base nas opiniões de vários professores de química. Um total de 14 itens de perguntas abertas e fechadas por meio do Google Forms foi distribuído on-line. Com base em uma pesquisa com vários professores de química, o submaterial mais difícil em ligações químicas é a geometria molecular, enquanto o mais fácil são as ligações iônicas. Os professores de química que participaram desse estudo tendem a se concentrar mais em representações simbólicas, macroscópicas e submicroscópicas no ensino de ligações químicas.
